Manas Kathuria -Our healthcare professional can help you assess the severity and plan an individualized treatment your injury and help you get back to pre accident levels.

Concussion Management Program
You should tell someone (your partner, coach, parent, teacher, etc.) so that you are not left alone. You should stay away from sport, class, and/or work until you can be properly assessed by a medical professional. During the first few hours after an injury, rest is the best treatment.
Make an appointment with a Medical Physician as soon as possible. Unless your symptoms are severe and/or rapidly worsening, you usually do not need to visit the emergency room. Get a good night’s sleep without having someone wake you up in the middle of the night.
Obtain a proper medical evaluation from a physician. In most cases, CT scans or MRIs are not necessary unless more severe injuries are suspected or must be ruled out.
For further assessment, contact a Concussion Management Provider in your area. Spectrum Physiotherapy (Manas Kathuria, PT) will help you undergo through baseline testing to identify any areas that may be impaired due to the injury and to guide management recommendations. It is highly recommended that you undergo follow-up testing with a Health Professional even if you have not previously undergone baseline testing.
Ensure you follow the management recommendations made by your physician and Spectrum Physiotherapy Professionals. In addition to physical rehabilitation (for instance, for neck pain), specific recovery strategies may include rest strategies and advice on modifying school and/or work requirements, rehabilitative techniques (such as vestibular therapy and exercises to combat dizziness), etc.
Ensure your recovery is monitored properly by the health professionals involved in your care. We are available to answer your questions at +1 587-844-2040. It will be helpful to you in your recovery if you understand your injury.
