Registered Physiotherapist
Shikha is a Registered Physiotherapist and is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.She received her degree in Physiotherapy in 2010.Since then, she had the privilege of treating patients of all ages and backgrounds in various multidisciplinary settings and she enjoys treating wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. Her assessments focus on targeting the root cause of injury to rehabilitate and prevent future injuries. She uses a hands-on manual therapy based approach with appropriate exercise prescription and electrotherapy to aid treatment.Her passion is to help people achieve their goals to reaching full recovery and be pain free.She will take the time to fully understand what you are experiencing and she will be thinking of ways to help long after your appointment ends. She feels it is her privilege to be involved in her patients recovery. She continues to prioritize continuing education, and actively expands her knowledge base, skill set and clinical reasoning to help clients achieve their goals.
Shikha lived in Toronto and Halifax and immediately fell in love with Rockies and decide to settle in Calgary with her husband.Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her family and friends, whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen and enjoying the mountain air whenever possible.
