Early on in my practice when I treated patients for their chronic musculoskeletal pain, I always noticed that their pain was the result of postural misalignment. With acupuncture, patients found relief from their pain, but the postural misalignment remain unchanged.
Inevitably, the same problem would be re-aggravated a while later. It made no sense to only treat the pain whilst the root cause of the issue remain unchanged. Something was missing, and I wanted to develop a better approach.
Incorporating Craniosacral Therapy techniques, a very gentle hands-on manual therapy modality, into treatments pivotally shifted how I practice. Integrating these techniques into a holistic acupuncture treatment benefitted patients with the best approach each modality has to offer.
